What happens when I have submitted my application for an aptitude test? Our selection committee meets several times a month in Geneva and evaluates all applications received according to a set list of criteria. Our dispatcher on duty then receives feedback and informs you of the selection committee's result. We then coordinate with you when and where we can offer you an aptitude test. There are two options: The aptitude test takes place over one or two days. We will give you the location and time depending on the availability of the location and time. The second option is the one-week aptitude test. We will give you the flight ticket for travel within Europe. These usually take place in Spain, Portugal, Greece or Germany. The aptitude test begins with your arrival and ends with your departure. The examiners are experienced trainers from our academy and work through a standardized program. This includes a short interview so that we can get to know you better. After that, the test program begins. Applicants for the one-week aptitude test have a second chance if they don't pass the first time. The second chance is a weekend evening appointment. And of course we will treat your application discreetly and we expect you to treat your application with us just as discreetly.

Which BDSM SM practices are fundamentally excluded, or which taboos are accepted? The fewer limits you have, the better your chances, generally speaking. You should not smoke and take good care of your body. Basically, we accept all common BDSM practices. However, permanent marks, feces and blood are excluded. In the suitability test, there is a set list of criteria that is worked through. You don't need to worry, 18-year-olds have managed it effortlessly. IMPORTANT: You should have no problem showing yourself naked in any way or, for example, masturbating in front of others or being shown off in private. We cannot consider people who have not been tested or who have or have had a contagious disease. We take our responsibility very seriously.
-
What long-term prospects are there at the European Slave Academy? After completing their training, graduates have a very diverse perspective with a high degree of flexibility. As a graduate, you live with a Dom/Master after living together on a trial basis (one or two weeks). After that, you can decide whether you want to live with your Dom/Master under the very lucrative conditions. Some graduates have got along so well that they have even married or entered into a registered civil partnership. You have regular time to go home or do what you want. You decide voluntarily and exclusively how long you want to stay with your Dom. The management of the Academy has regular meetings and medical examinations, including our psychological service. Your well-being is very important to us. The Doms, as owners of the Academy, also have rules that they must adhere to, otherwise their membership will be suspended.
-
Is there psychological support and guidance? This is a basic requirement. In addition to the classic access to our medical service (with a small clinic), each of our graduates also has the opportunity to consult our psychological service at any time and to discuss things. Aftercare is also something our members take very seriously. We also regularly ask our graduates whether the members of the academy are adhering to our established rules.
-
What options are there for graduates to raise criticism, complaints or similar? All members have the opportunity to speak to and contact our internal ombudsman at any time. As part of our security concept, he ensures that complaints and criticism are received without prior notice and that remedial action is taken. In addition, there is a committee of graduates representing the academy, which is elected annually by the graduates and can identify complaints or points of criticism against the academy and take remedial action without naming names. However, this has never been used in the past few years since 2012. Due to the aptitude test including the psychological test, we largely rule out points of conflict from the outset. We deal with everything else in regular audits with our graduates.
-
How are the legal and ethical aspects monitored? There is a multi-level system for this. Our ombudsman our legal department our psychological service our general adviser as the main person in charge our medical service and, last but not least, our security department. In addition, there are audits, unannounced visits to members and discussions without the owners being present.
-
Is the academy about human trafficking or even illegal slavery? No, not at any time. It's about BDSM, voluntary participation under the supervision of our law firm, which monitors compliance with all laws. Everything happens without coercion, without obligation! We expressly distance ourselves from exploitation, slavery, coercion or similar, as this is not compatible with our ethical standards. It's about the topic of sub and BDSM in the context of living out fetishes.
-
If I notice during the aptitude test that I can't do it, what happens then? Then you tell us the safe word that you gave us when you arrived. Then we'll stop and you pack up your things and can leave the test area. Without any obligations. The same applies if you notice this during your training. And even after completing your training, you can leave the academy at any time. Without any obligations. We would also be happy to have a final discussion with you so that we can learn from it and understand why you made the decision you did.
-
What happens when I am accepted for the aptitude test?First of all, congratulations, you have completed the first step. Next, we will coordinate the next possible date for you to take the BDSM aptitude test. If you are accepted for the one-week test, we will tell you the exact date again, which you should check. If everything is OK, we will book your flight ticket for you once we have received all the information you need to book the flight. Alternatively, we will refund the cost of your trip upon arrival. If you do not want to send us the information in advance, we leave that up to you, please let us know. In any case, your data is protected by us and will never be passed on except for the stated purpose. Discretion is paramount! You will then receive all the important travel information, when you are leaving, which travel documents you need, which rules apply, how your transfer to the test location will take place after you arrive. The week-long aptitude tests usually take place in a rented finca/villa with a pool and pleasant surroundings. You usually arrive in the late afternoon or evening, depending on your destination. You will also receive an evening snack. All detailed information so that all your questions are answered. And as always, you can ask us anytime by email. ( info.esa@proton.me ) Our dispatchers are available every day, including weekends, and will respond to you as quickly as possible.
-
Who carries out the aptitude test and how is it assessed? The aptitude tests are carried out by our very responsible and experienced trainers. In addition to an interview when you arrive and a short psychological questionnaire, the one-week aptitude test includes a standardized program that tests your suitability, resilience and ability to cope. In addition to the test, this also includes aftercare, relaxation breaks at the pool, short excursions and also conversations. We want to get to know you a little and basically see whether it makes sense for you and us for you to start the training. If you come to the conclusion during the test that it is too much for you, you can stop at any time and leave the test location. It is all voluntary and without coercion. This is very important to us. In between, we also do some fitness tests and check your mental health. Because we also have a responsibility to you. At the end of the week there is a final interview where you can give your examiner feedback and also tell us whether you would like to start the training if you have passed the exam. After completing the one-week aptitude test, our examiner will prepare a written report and send it to Geneva. There, all the information will also be evaluated by our medical and psychological services. We will send you the results around two weeks later. In any case, we wish you much success and happiness today. Many of our applicants repeatedly confirm to us that they have learned a lot about themselves and their bodies during this week.
-
When will I find out if I have passed the aptitude test? You will be informed of the result about two weeks after the end of the aptitude test. This time is needed because your examiner has to write a final report and send ideas to the academy's examination committee, which then makes the final decision together with the examiner.
-
Can I do the training after passing the aptitude test even if I only want to start after finishing school, vocational training or university, for example?Yes, since the beginning of 2025 we have revised our training guidelines and made them more flexible. After completing the aptitude test, you can complete two years of school, training or study and then start your training. If this takes longer than two years, the aptitude test must be repeated.
-
Can people who are not yet 18 years old take the aptitude test or start the training? No, that is not possible. The academy is based on ethical standards and, above all, the applicable legal regulations. We are committed to protecting young people. People with mental illnesses or other serious illnesses are also excluded from the training.
-
How can I find out before an aptitude test whether I am suitable for BDSM and whether I should take an aptitude test?We offer appointments several times a year in Berlin, Frankfurt, Nuremberg and Munich (Germany) where you can try this out. Our examiners are then on site.
-
I am older than 24 years, can I still apply?Basically, we have this age limit due to the requirements of our members and also the physical definition of slim, skinny to athletic. In exceptional cases, applications from people older than 24 years are also possible. These are then decisions made on a case-by-case basis.
-
Which BDSM practices are used in the aptitude test and training at the European Slave Academy? With the exception of feces, blood and permanent marks, there are no exceptions. We test different practices depending on the current topic focus and also observe the reaction and resilience of the applicants and graduates. We also pay attention to the health protection of all those involved. People with previous organic illnesses - or psychological ones - cannot take an aptitude test or training. As part of our responsibility and our ethical standards, we reject this. Therefore, we also do some tests and an interview with applicants. If everything is OK after that, nothing stands in the way of your aptitude test.
-
Do I have health insurance during my training and during my subsequent stay with my Dom?During your training and later when you have successfully passed your exam, you will automatically be covered by our health insurance. We may also have to prove this when applying for visas and residence permits. This is why this is standard at the Academy. In addition, you will be looked after and cared for around the clock by our medical service at the Academy.
